Museum Box is great for displaying primary sources. It provides the tools for you to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical period by placing items in a virtual box.

NB Museum Boxes can't be embedded in a wiki. Student's boxes are kept on the site.
Year 5 students have used Museum Box in 2009 and 2010 for their Place and Time unit. Click on the Museum Boxes link from the home page, find Mt Scopus in the list of schools and you'll see their work.

Instructions for teachers after students have submitted their boxes to the website:
Once your kids are finished their cubes in Museum Box, they click ‘submit’. The boxes then need to be reviewed by you, and you need to give the final ok to publish them to the website.
To do this:

1. Click on link to Teachers’ Area on home page
2. Click ‘log in to teachers administration area
3. Click on ‘review boxes’ and you’ll see the list of submitted boxes
4. You can approve, reject or edit:
If you approve a box it will go live on the Clarksons Box Creator website within your school or organisation's area. The author of the box will be also able to reload the box in the box creator. You may send a message to the user who created it if you choose this option.
If you reject a box it will be returned to the author, alongside any message you choose to enter. The author will be able to load the box and make changes, or do any further work on it.
If you choose to edit the box you can make amendments to the text and the audio attachments if necessary.
